Director and Pre-K Teacher

I began my career in early education at Greenwood School (Hyattsville, MD) and remained a teacher there for approximately 24 years. I adore conversations with young children and truly enjoy being a part of their play-based learning experiences. I love being able to make a difference in the lives of young children and feel that the co-op experience gives parents the perfect opportunity (permission) to play…how exciting!

2s and 3s Teacher

My two children attended College Park Nursery School. During that time I was a Board Member and served a term as President of the Board. I was a substitute teacher and aide in the Kindergarten class. When my youngest child left CPNS to begin elementary school, I began my teaching career at a nearby school as a PreK–K teacher.

3/4s Teacher

I love the concept of a cooperative preschool and the benefits of having parents participate in their child’s early educational experience. My own three children were enrolled in a cooperative preschool in Montgomery County. I am very excited to be teaching one of the three-year-old classes at CPNS this year.

Assistant Teacher

I love seeing children every day because they are the future and spirit of life. That is why I studied and obtained some certificates so that I could work in the field of children’s education. I started working in an organization as a teacher’s assistant for two years, and after that I began working with CPNS.

Administrative and Financial Coordinator

I fell in love with CPNS when my son first attended the 3/4s class in 2019. I have been an educator for 12 years and let me tell you this - CPNS is truly special and one of a kind. It is an honor to serve the school in this capacity now as the Administrative and Financial Coordinator.
