Your guide to fundraising for and participating in the Trash-A-Thon
We are counting on YOU - our amazing CNPS community - for a successful Trash-A-Thon in 2025! We have set a fundraising goal of $6,000 for this year. We ask that each family fundraise to the best of their ability by reaching out to family, friends, co-workers and neighbors to sponsor their trash pick-up.

Join Our Campaign as a Fundraising Team Member
Use the following guide or links to learn how to create your fundraising team and manage your fundraising page.
Step 2:
Share Our Trash-A-Thon Fundraiser With Your People
Talk to your friends, families and neighbors. Tell them about the Trash-A-Thon and encourage them to donate using your unique fundraising URL. Need some tips? Check out our Trash-A-Thon Fundraising and Participant Guide below.
Step 3:
Register as a Trash-A-Thon Participant
On Trash-A-Thon day, you will work with your class to clean up a designated location. We’d like as many College Park Nursery School families to show up as possible! If you are able to attend, please sign you and your family up by registering as participants on our GiveButter donation page.
Step 4:
Clean Up and Celebrate With Us on April 5th
Show up with your family at your class’ assigned location on Saturday, April 5th at 9AM - Clean up and have FUN! Then join us at the Trash-A-Thon Bash to eat, play and celebrate Earth Month and a successful Trash-A-Thon! Trash-A-Thon Day: What to Expect
We’d love all College Park Nursery School families to clean up with us on Trash-A-Thon Day. Team work makes the dream work! But don’t forget - All Trash-A-Thon participants must register on our GiveButter donation page. If you have relatives or friends who want to join your family to pick up trash, they are welcome to do so, but they need to register as well.
Here is a rough schedule of the day:
9.00AM: Gather at your class’ designated trash pickup location
9.15AM: Trash pickup time!
10.15AM: Drop trash bags at designated spot and head back to the school
10.30AM: Celebrate with us at the Trash-A-Thon Bash!
